MONO-NYCTO (demo)

Monophobia: "a morbid dread of being alone"

Nyctophobia: "abnormal fear of darkness"

In MONO-NYCTO, the player must traverse safely through a park in the middle of night in order to meet up with their friend, Joesph. With a high emphasis on audio, the game aims to play off of the common fear of being alone at night.

This game demo was created as a part of my final year Immersive Systems Design dissertation at the Glasgow School of Art, in which I was testing the effectiveness of 'spatial audio'. After about a week of development, this project is still very much incomplete and will hopefully be worked on further in the near future.

Disclaimer

• Most 3D assets and Textures were sourced from both the Unity Asset Store and Turbosquid.
• Most sfx were sourced from both MixKit and Zapsplat.

Install Instructions

1. Download the zipped "Mono-Nycto Build" folder down below.
2. Once downloaded, unzip the folder.
3. Once opening the folder, double click on the 'MONO-NYCTO' execution file to launch the game.
